Private Group Chat

The Private Group Chat feature allows administrators to enable secure, internal communication by creating invite-only chat groups for selected users based on roles or responsibilities.

Purpose of Private Group Chat

Private group chat helps to:

  • Enable secure internal communication within SMP
  • Allow collaboration between specific teams or users
  • Prevent unauthorized access to sensitive discussions
  • Improve coordination between admins, support teams, or vendors
  • Reduce dependency on external communication tools

Steps to Create a Private Group Chat

  1. Navigate to the Group Chat section.
  2. Click Create New Private Group.
  3. Enter the group name and description.
  4. Select internal vendors to be invited.
  5. Send invitation links to the selected vendors.
  6. Vendors accept the invitation link to join the private group chat.
  7. Review the group details.
  8. Save the group to activate the private chat.
  9. Start sending messages within the group.
