Purpose of Product Template Creation​

Product templates help to:

  • Standardize product information across the storefront
  • Reduce manual effort when creating similar products
  • Ensure consistency in product attributes and configurations
  • Minimize errors during product creation
  • Support scalable product management

Key Product Template Features​

  • Create reusable product templates
  • Define common attributes and fields

Steps to Create a Product Template​

  1. Navigate to the Product Templates section.
  2. Click Create Template or Add New Template.
  3. Enter the Template Name and Description.
  4. Define product attributes, fields, and configurations.
  5. Configure pricing behavior and product type.
  6. Review the template details.
  7. Save the template and approve it to make it available for product creation.

Product Template Usage in SMP​

Once approved, product templates can be reused by administrators and vendors to quickly create products with predefined structures, ensuring consistency across the marketplace.
